The Mile High Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is pleased to announce the return of our golf tournament, this time benefiting Lupus Colorado. Since being established in 1972, Lupus Colorado’s mission has been to provide support, education and training to everyone that is affected by this disease.

Lupus is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that is difficult to diagnose, difficult to manage and, to date, without cure. For most people, it affects various parts of the body, especially the skin, joints, blood, kidneys, lungs, heart, nervous system, and/or other body organs or system. For others, it may cause serious and even life threatening problems.

Current statistics indicate that Lupus:

  • affects adult women approximately 10 times more frequently than men;
  • is diagnosed in 16,000 people each year;
  • while it is NOT infectious, rare or cancerous; it is more prevalent in the US than AIDS, sickle cell anemia, cerebral palsy and cystic fibrosis;
  • is the least known of all major diseases.

 

The Mile High Chapter of ALA hopes to provide funding to increase professional awareness and improve diagnostic techniques and evaluation methods that contribute to the earlyvdiagnosis and treatment of Lupus. While medical science has not yet developed a method for curing Lupus, new research brings unexpected findings and increased hope each year.

We encourage our members, family, friends and members of the legal community to join us in supporting this endeavor.

Format

The golf tournament will be a foursome scramble open to golfers of all levels of playing ability. Create your own foursome or we can create one for you. If golfing isn’t your game, then join us for miniature golf, along with go-carts and bumper cars, for casual fun! Whether it’s with your employees, colleagues, employees, business associates, friends or family, you are ensured an enjoyable day of golf (or miniature golf), all for a worthy cause.

Host Golf Course

The gold course has received various awards including one of the top 100 golf courses to play in America by Golf Digest, known for its unique design and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Proper dress code is required - no tank or sleeveless shirts (cap sleeves are okay) and no denim.

Award Competitions

The golf tournament will provide players an opportunity to win prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place foursomes and Closest to the Pin.

  • Two (2) Foursomes in the Golf Tournament to include green fees, carts and lunch.

  • Seven (7) raffle tickets into the Awards Luncheon raffle prize drawings.

 

$350 Putting Green Sponsor  (One Available), or

$350 Golf & Miniature Golf Hole Sponsor (18 Available)

  • One quarter page ad in the event program distributed to players, sponsors, donors, volunteers & guests.
  • Full name displayed at the sponsored hole of your choice.
  • Recognition of your company name at the Registration Desk.
